About Jan

Hi and thanks for coming by:

My name is Jan Shimano and I have lived a long and very interesting life, but don’t worry, I am not going to take up your valuable time telling you my life story….perhaps another time!

For many years I was District Manager with Health & Welfare Canada and as such was responsible for half of the Province of Saskatchewan.  I have also been self-employed as a Nutritional Consultant and a Master Herbalist.

My family and I were plagued with numerous health problems….some minor but some very major ones….I decided that I was going to be proactive and take control.  That’s when I decided to get my degree in Nutrition from the Donsbach University.  Dr. Donsbach is very well-known in the alternative health care field.  I also studied at the same time to become a Master Herbalist.

There are so many medical complaints that have drastically improved for me and my family, I don’t know where to begin.  This is a list of some of them:

Acid Reflux;

Irritible Bowel Syndrome;

PMS;

Menopause;

Chronic Fatigue;

Liver Disease;

Cancer;  (Malignant Melanoma and Thyroid Cancer);

Skin Disorders;

Depression;

and the list goes on….

Either me or a member of my family has battled with the above conditions and has been successful in finding the most natural ways to significantly improve our health.

The purpose of this Website is to share the knowledge that I have acquired over the years and also to present the most up-to-date information I can find on the subject I am writing on.

I welcome your comments and if there is a medical condition that you would like me to write about, please let me know.

I am looking forward to getting to know you personally and invite you to come back here on a regular basis.

Please go ahead and sign up for my free newsletter.  I will be sending it out at the beginning of each month.   There is no obligation and you can opt out whenever you want.

So thanks for taking the time to read my little introduction…please browse around and I look forward to your next visit.

To your abundant health,

Jan Shimano

    Hi Christina: The liquid I take is Magnesium Liquid Ionic. The company website is http://www.biofrequencyconsulting.com.
    I can also recommend magnesium oxide or chelated magnesium. There is a great product out there for migraines that combines magnesium, feverfew and riboflavin. It’s called MigraHealth or MigraLief. You can purchase it in some Health Food Stores, but you have to be careful that it has all three ingredients in it. There are some knockoffs. You can definitely get it over the internet. The product comes highly recommended in the book “What Your Doctor May NOT Tell you About Migraines” by Alexander Mauskop MD and Harry Fox, PhD.
    Let me know how you make out!

    Hello
    I am just trying to slow down my migrain attacks and the vast amounts of sumatriptan that I have been using over past few years…average 2 attacks /week.
    So far so good…
    Liquid/calcium/magnesium.. for 1 week.. and only low grade migrain…unusually low.
    Best regards
    Leo UK
